Teddy Jian is a cinematographer/colorist based in LA and sometimes China. He was born in a small city in southern China and studied film making in Chapman University's Dodge college of Film and Media Art, following three great mentors: Bill Dill, ASC; Johnny Jensen, ASC and Jurg Walther. His cinematography work spans narrative, documentaries, commercials, and music videos.

 

He has a wide range of interests in shooting different genres of cinema, including hardcore genre films and slow-pace art house cinema. His visual approach emphasizing in capturing time & space, using every methods to create emotional images.
